Dinnalli Design & Consulting is a practice addressing effectiveness in social action, by invoking a multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary approach to design. The practice is led by Sujay Dinnalli with inputs from a close-knit network of experts.

The management of complexity is a key challenge to individuals and organisations in their purpose-driven endeavours. Siloed thinking and mono-disciplinary approaches do little to address the uncertainties, power structures and system dynamics prevalent in all domains of action. For effective action, a broad approach is needed that is critical, in that it considers the socio-political in all problems, socio-ecological, in that it does not divorce ‘natural’ worlds from anthropocentric activity, systemic, in that it recognises the multitude of systems and inter-relationships, and cybernetic, in that it focuses on communication and the design of interactions.

About Sujay Dinnalli

Sujay has helped individuals and organisations for over a decade in design and building of strategic capacities. He is an independent researcher writing and speaking on topics of political ecology, political economy and distributed governance. He is affiliated with the World Organisation of Systems & Cybernetics (WOSC), an international society of systems thinkers and cyberneticians, and has presented papers in two of its international conferences. He is also an advisor to several non-profit organisations.
